Our mission is to assist social workers of The Orange County Department of Social Services immediately address or prevent human crises for any economically vulnerable person or family in our community. The primary focus of our fundraising and disbursements directly addresses the urgent needs of children, to prevent abuse and neglect; victims of domestic violence; the homeless and those in danger of homelessness; families experiencing food insecurity, and those who are financially unable to cover their health care needs. FRIENDS provides financial help upon request from DSS, when other funding resources have been exhausted.
