Babies are born into our world whether or not their parents are able to provide for them. FRIENDS believes that new babies should have basic clothing, bath and bedding items for a fighting chance at a healthy start at life. FRIENDS’ Layette Program provides layette items, to new moms who have nothing for their newborn baby. Our Layette coordinator, Gail Gibbs has been shopping for new and gently used items for many years. Gail stores the items and personally fills requests for layettes from DSS and The Orange County Health Department.
